You've got to feel for the intelligent design movement. They can't seem to take a trick lately. Apparently no one is convinced by their fallacious arguments no matter how hard they try. But there's good news at hand. If they can't win over the community through stating their case scientifically why not make a movie (http://www.expelledthemovie.com/) about being the oppressed underdog! That way we IDers don't have to present any evidence to support their made up theory. They can spin it as a repression of free-speech issue brought about by the mean dogma-ridden, christian-bashing, BIG SCIENCE community . The false dichotomy will do the rest and intelligent design will be the leading scientific theory and we'll all be accepted into heaven :)!

Don't read kids. Watch movies :D.
But which high profile leading intelligent design advocate should star in it? Michael Behe? He's not really charismatic enough and admitted in court that he thinks astrology is a science. Kirk Cameron? He's lost a bit of respect with the atheists worse banana nightmare thing. Also has a silly mustache. How about Dr Dino himself Kent Hovind? Unfortunately you can't take camera's into gaol. That leaves one obvious person who's perfect for the role. Yes that's right Ben Stein, intelligent design proponent extraordinaire. Complete with ajar school uniform to illustrate the stupidification of our children through indoctrination with the BIG SCIENCE agenda. Assume the role of the heroic rebel Ben.

Ben Stein, in the new film EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed
His heroic and, at times, shocking journey confronting the world’s top scientists, educators and philosophers, regarding the persecution of the many by an elite few.
In theatres near you, starting February 2008
Ben travels the world on his quest, and learns an awe-inspiring truth…that bewilders him, then angers him…and then spurs him to action!
Ben realizes that he has been “Expelled,” and that educators and scientists are being ridiculed, denied tenure and even fired – for the “crime” of merely believing that there might be evidence of “design” in nature, and that perhaps life is not just the result of accidental, random chance.
To which Ben Says: "Enough!" And then gets busy. NOBODY messes with Ben.
Seriously screw the elite few pushing the BIG SCIENCE agenda. How dare they. I'm glad there's one man brave enough to say enough and heroically throw down the gauntlet. And what better way than by theOfficial Expelled Blog. (http://www.expelledthemovie.com/blog/)
I’m glad you found this site, because I want to share with you my thoughts from time to time here about a subject that is very near and dear to me: freedom. EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed is a controversial, soon-to-be-released documentary that chronicles my confrontation with the widespread suppression and entrenched discrimination that is spreading in our institutions, laboratories and most importantly, in our classrooms, and that is doing irreparable harm to some of the world’s top scientists, educators, and thinkers. Irreparable harm! I never knew it was so bad. I'm glad you're here to help through a movie Ben!
America is not America without freedom. In every turning point in our history, freedom has been the key goal we are seeking: the Mayflower coming here, the Revolution, the Civil War, World War II, the Cold War. Tens of millions came here from foreign oppression and made a life here. Why? For freedom. Human beings are supposed to live in a state of freedom. Freedom is not conferred by the state: as our founders said, and as Martin Luther King repeated, freedom is God-given.A huge part of this freedom is freedom of inquiry. That's 8 freedoms in one paragraph. I guess Ben must really like freedom. I think I see where he's going with this.....
Freedom of inquiry is basic to human advancement. There would be no modern medicine, no antibiotics, no brain surgery, no Internet, no air conditioning, no modern travel, no highways, no knowledge of the human body without freedom of inquiry. He's preaching to the choir now. Who could argue with this. Freedom of inquiry has opened up so much good for humanity. The systematic scientific enquiry process that uses falsifiable hypotheses, empricial observation, and stringent experimentation.
This includes the ability to inquire whether a higher power, a being greater than man, is involved with how the universe operates. This has always been basic to science. ALWAYS.
So the rejection of intelligent design is purely because BIG SCIENCE won't accept enquiry into a higher power? Here's the rest of us thinking it was due to it being a bunk theory completely lacking in even the most basic of scientific evidence.
Fantastically biting trailers can be viewed here (http://www.expelledthemovie.com/video.php). Don't forget to download the iPod versions to show you friends and spread the word!
Also show your support FOR free speech by buying a clothing item from their online store. If you don't buy one you're a fascist that doesn't support free speech and is a supression lover .
