Original state and iLife disc?

I will be selling my iMac G5 in a few weeks, I want to know how to get it back to it's original state. I have the original install discs. Also has apple always given iLife discs with their macs? As I can't seem to find it for the imac (ilife 05), was there even one and it came on part of the install discs?

The grey Apple installation discs have iLife on the second one.

With regard to restoring it to a clean state, just pop in the OS disc that came with it and reboot holding down the C key. Choose clean install.

I recall the option worded as "erase and install" but yeah, same idea.

Thank you! so there never was a disc for ilife? Wish I had known that before spending an hour searching for a disc that didn' exist.

Also another question, by using a firewire cable is it quite quick and easy to transfer data from one mac to another in an automatic sort of way
