Planning a trip to France and planning on taking the mac book. Is there a power option for the plane ? Also what is the best power converted ?

When you're on the ground in France, you don't really need a power converter. Your regular MacBook power adapter will work fine there if you get the correct "plug". Apple sells an "international kit (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=6C04E099&nplm=M8794G/B)" for $39.99 that has adapters ("plugs") for pretty much anywhere in the world, but there may be a way to get just the one you need for less.
