Which firewire?

I want to transfer data from my imac g5 to my new macbook. I've been having a look at firewire cables but how are you suppose to know which is right?

4-6 pin
6-6 pin
9-4 pin
9-6 pin
9-9 pin

Yes, it's 6-6 pin.


Unless both machines have FireWire 800 (and I don't think either the iMac G5s or MacBooks have it) and you can use the 9 pin cable
