Hi, i have a problem.
I am currently attempting to dual boot my macbook (120 GB) but, thus far, cannot.
I have a windows XP service pack 2 disc but every time i run Setup i get this message: "Setup could read the CD you inserted, or the CD is not a valid Windows CD." I assure you, it is a valid Windows CD.
I have allocated 10 GB to my new partition and have successfully burnt the mac drivers CD...
What am i doing wrong?
any help would be very appreciated!
thanks!

Looks like you have an upgrade disc and not a full version.

Are you able to read this CD under OS X (just to browse the files)? If so the CD is most likely physically ok. In which case, I would have to concur that this disk is not one of the allowable Windows versions supported by bootcamp.
If not, is the CD clean, with no scratch or years of smudges etc.? If not, clean and polish it and try to view the files in OS X. If that works try installing again.
Good luck,

When I installed Bootcamp I had the same problem... except i had to go through the process of taking the installation cd and slipstreaming service pack 2 onto it. I just kept burning discs till I found out that worked... I have no clue if that'll help you at all.

You gave your Windows partition 10GB? That's not gonna last very long at all.
