An Apple Store employee once told me that using Parallels on my MacBook Pro would void my hardware warranty. I am wondering, is this true?

I was using parallels this morning and all of a sudden, my entire screen went blank with a whole bunch of shapes (differents shades of blue or yellow) everywhere. I rebooted my comp and my Windows XP partition was all messed up and wouldn't boot, and everytime I would boot up into MacOS X, the screen would get all messed up where I clicked.

Accordingly, I am thinking it may be a video card issue, but I am wondering if my warranty is void because I have Parallels installed on my machine. If anyone has any info on this topic, please let me know.

Thanks!

Your warranty isn't void, don't listen to the Apple store employee. If Parallels voids your warranty Apple wouldn't sell it in their own stores.

Parallels definitely does not void your warranty.

(How do these people get hired?)
