iChat won't start

I have the iChat AV beta. It worked and all, but I rarely used it because I use AIM.

But the other day when I went to use iChat, it wouldn't start. I had the Speech Bubble thing on my menubar, and I could sign on using that, but I can't view my buddy list nor can I IM people. The iChat icon won't stay in the dock (it will bounce three or so times and then fade out).

I deleted all of my iChat files, except for the program itself. It still just bounces a few times and then leaves.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
