Hi,

Just to be sure the iPhone can fit my Bose in-ear headphones can someone please measure in millimeters the opening of the headphone jack, or better yet does anyone know if my Bose in-ear headphones will fit the iPhone.

thanks,

-Victor

You will need an adapter. I can't tell you what the size of the opening is, but I know from experience that BOSE headphones will not work.

There are about 3 different adapters that I have seen (I'm sure there are more - and I'm sure they are all equally overpriced).

Belkin (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=DBA24138&nplm=TN546LL/A)
Seido (http://store.phonedifferent.com/content/accessories/73-75--2927.htm)
Smartphone experts (http://store.phonedifferent.com/content/accessories/73-75--2695.htm)

All of these are around 8-10. The belkin is available in the apple store, the other two you'd have to order. If you're going to be fairly stationary the belkin suits me fine, I use it in the car. It is NOT terribly flexible and would be uncomfortable in a pocket. For mobile use the Seido or the Smartphone experts would be better.
