midi no sound

hi,

im usinfg logic express 7. i have recorded live instruments but cant hear or get any sound from midi instruments. when i record and use the inbuilt keyboard i can see a score with music on it but no sound. so i can not hear what i play or monitor it, can some body advise... thank you
