Ok if you guys have noticed, i have posted a few threads concerning mail on the iPhone, well the only mail that works is yahoo mail and even that one is questionable...aol mail worked before and i tried to set it up again and it doesnt work, as does gmail (or does not gmail?) Should i restore my iphone?

I would say definitely. I've had no significant problems with mail whatsoever and I use IMAP google and yahoo
