I just recently converted my family to Macs (yay!), and they bought a 24in iMac (the aluminum version) this past Saturday. I was wondering if there is still the magnet for the Apple Remote for this new iMac line?

No offense but.... OMG! Try reading any of the threads or doing a basic search. NO MAGNET. This has been covered ad noseum.

In the OPs defense, there is some confusion about this. There is not a magnet specifically for the remote, HOWEVER, there are like 10 other magnets that hold the glass in place, many of which some people find suitable for hanging their remote from.
