Hi,

I have a Acer 22" LCD monitor hooked up to my G5. I love it so much that I've ordered a 2nd identical monitor.

I have a ATI Radeon 9600 XT(128 MB)in slot 1 and an ATI VGA(32 MB) in slot 2.

From my limited understanding, the slot 2 doesn't do me much(if any good), correct?

So, the remaining 2nd display "plug" on the 9600 must be the ADC, correct? (it looks very similar to the other one but its kind of rounded on the ends).

Is it safe to assume that I need the ADC-VGA adaptor, or will I get better performance plugging into the second video card?

Hope this makes sense.

Running a powermac G5 dual 2.5 w/4.5 ram.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It's an AL2223W and has a "DVI and Analog" input.

It also comes with a DVI and a VGA cable.

Thanks

OK, thank you very much.

Thanks for the link to the adapter as well.

Take care.
