No hacking, nothing! Just GUI! Works on all three firmwares (1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2). This is what I have been waiting for and will make things easier for everybody else! I told you it would come!!!:D:D

Hopefully by the time the iPhone comes to the UK it will have a simple solution for everything :)

iFuntastic will be better, great apps will be out of 'alpha' stage and the bugs will be sorted...

It looks like that will be soon! I have never seen development moving this fast for anything!

*sigh* really all I need are Adium, TextEdit, and games for the phone, and I'm set. I don't want to hack my phone.

Its not really hacking, just click a couple of things and modify the odd file. No danger to your phone. Don't be skeerd.

Or just run Mac OS X on a PC, really.

I did until I can convince myself to spend $3K on a new Mac laptop that I don't really need...

Cost me almost 3 grand for top of the line MacBook Pro after it was all said and done. Just depends on what one he wants.

My new $2K MBP is AWESOME. That super hi-res screen on the 17" was just too tiny for me to read. Not worth the extra grand in my book. I'm adding some RAM with the extra dough.

So what things can you do with this app and can you install any program on the phone?
Give me some info if anyone knows details.
Thanks.

It automates the installation of a lot of applications. At the very least it allows the easy install of the ssh and bsd files you need to access and install things on the phone. I can now ftp files onto my phone which means ringtones are a breeze. Obviously you can only install iPhone applications on your iPhone.

A native iChat client has just started development, and its going to end up being a multi client like Adium.

One of the latest apps thats been going around is the ability to easily swap themes on your phone. All super nice and automated.

Just poke around on modmyiphone.com to see whats available.

How many icons are on your homescreen?

If there are more than 16 then you wont see them unless you have launcher installed. If you have Launcher installed, but it isn't next to Installer delete your other apps until Launcher is next to Installer and then install the other stuff.
