I work for my school system's technology dept. Basically their is still work to do and they want me to work tomorrow but they can't pay me. They are giving me the option of taking a PowerMac G4 or an eMac to compensate me for my work. I am not really looking to use this computer on a regular basis, probably just as a file and print server.

The General Specs:
eMac G4 700mhz 256mb 40gb DVD
Pros: Has screen, more powerful, all in one
Cons: Big, bulky, heavy, ugly, CRT

PowerMac G4 450mhz 512mb 30gb DVD-RAM
Pros: More expandable, smaller, better looking, I can use an LCD
Cons: Less powerful

I *might* be able to get a PM G4 533mhz/1gb/60gb/DVD-RAM

Well you can do alot more with the PowerMac, play around, update, mod etc....but if your looking for a hassle free, plug in and use, the eMac is your bet.

Personally I'd take the eMac because I like how they look.
