Can a project created in IMovie 6 be opened in the newest version? The reason I want to do this is so I can upload the movie to my .Mac account. Thanks!

Can't Upload iMovie 6 Movies To .Mac?
Yes but it strips some of the work. Why can't you upload it to your .Mac account without iMovie 7?
I would like to upload it to my web gallery from Imovie 6, but I don't see an option to do so.

If you export it as a Quicktime movie in iMovie 6, you can import that movie into iPhoto 08. You can then send that to a Web Gallery.
Thanks, I'll give that a try. Will the music also be with the file when I upload it from IPhoto? Initially I was creating a project in IMovie 08 and when I uploaded it, the music tracks were not following the project.
