Ok, my friend created some .mpg files on his Windows machine through his TV-card. That's all I seem to know.

Quicktime says they are not valid video files but VLC plays the files without a problem. The thing is that I really need Quicktime to pick them up so I can put the clips into a Keynote presentation.

Thanks!

Use the export feature of VLC to export the video to MPEG4 or MOVs to use in QuickTime.
