Online apple store site down?

I wanted to get into a saved shopping cart to show the wife the proposed new system and accessories but the apple store seems to be down. Does this happen often or for a reason or did their server just go down? They weren't supposed to update any of the product, right?

This is common when they are updating the store.

Don't get your hopes up too much, some time ago it was down and nothing was updated...

now it actually says it's updating but before I was just getting random error messages.
