iPhone synch issue?

I've gotten this error a few times in the few days I've had my iPhone. It is a refurb 8gb, and it is up to date on the software updates.

This morning I got this when trying to synch a few episodes of Jericho which I purchased via iTunes, and which synch to my video iPod without an issue. I know it isn't full, I've got over 5gb free

Any thoughts?
Error: Attempting to connect to disk "my iPhone" failed. An unknown error occurred (-69).

I got this error last night.
Not sure why.
Was considering restoring the iphone, but dont have the contacts backed up since itunes is running on a pc.
Any thoughts?

before its too late i would give the nearest Apple store a visit to check it out for me.or u could always try to check under support on apple.com
