Free iTune applications similar to Synergy?

I just dont want to pay money for the real app. So, are there any that are free and that are not bad?
 
Depends exactly which features you are looking for, but Quicksilver can do that and more. It's got a slight learning curve, but it will really change the way you use your Mac.
 
i use synergy to play/pause/next song/previous song and i use QS to scrool around Artists/playlists lists and find what i want or search for it...i think they work amazing with each other.🙄
 
I use QS for both control and search. I tend to use the Growltunes menu for rating songs because, although I know QS can do that, I like looking at the little stars.

If you have iTunes minimized, then QS lets you just hit space bar for pause/play, and the arrow keys for next and previous. At least that's how mine works.
