Does anyone have an external harddisk connected that is NOT a USB disk?
Will speed over an ethernetdisk be faster?

Won't be as easy to setup as using Apple's AirDisk utility.
It should work though - I'm curious to see if anyone has any speed comparisons for network drives v's USB connected by AirDisk.

E.g., the WD MyBook World Edition is Windows only, IIRC

I'd say it would most likely be faster (if it does it's own translation of network traffic onto the hard drive, rather than relying on the base station's processor), but more expensive (because it's doing that processing).
