Hard drive capacity info on desktop question

Are there any utilities that will update the capacity information of your hard drive on your desktop in real time without having to relaunch the finder or reboot? I think it's odd that Apple hasn't addressed this.
 
Be wary that any app that claims to be able to do this will probably just be restarting Finder anyway. 😱
