View Full Version : Make iSight movies with iRecordNow

Sure, most of us figured out how to record video with the iSight. But for a nifty little app dedicated to recording DV video specifically with the Sight, check out iRecordNow (http://www.irecordnow.com/). Videos can be played back with Quicktime or edited in iMovie. It's free (for now), it's fun to play around with, and it just works.

yep, just like broadcaster, but it gets straight to the point. can you ouput in mpeg4?

The options for video and audio are currently dimmed in the preferences, so it looks like you can't choose MPEG-4 yet, but you probably will be able to in the final release. Currently, it is locked at DV video and MPEG-4 audio. You can choose video sizes of either 320x240 or 640x480. I played with the app a bit more last night, and while the live display looked a bit choppy, the recorded file played back great.

i tried to play with it, but it doesnt work with panther, or else im doing something wrong.
