This story caught my eye and brought back an earlier thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28130&highlight=iPod+OLED) at MacRumors about OLED displays possibly being in the next incantation of the iPod. We now know they're not (at least not in the current models) but I think it's only a matter of time before this technology gets adopted by Apple, for the iPod and the line of Displays, as well.

Yeah, this is really good news - I can't wait to have a wall sized OLED display....:D

If I were a betting man, and I am, I'd say this is the technology that would be used to build the 30" display or larger - especially if it is going to be curved to a viewing angle around the viewer.
Mmmm. nice, bright, submersive, and low on power consumption. Sounds like a good coctail. :)
