View Full Version : G4 800MHz or 1GHz? Need opinions.

OK I am building a G4 Powermac and wanting to know do I spend $270 for a GigaDesigns G4/800MHz OR $390 for a GigaDesigns G4/1GHz, is the $120 difference in CPU speed gonna really be noticeable and worth it?

1GHz will hold you over much longer.

And gets lots of RAM, and a faster hard drive.

get the 1 GHZ that is rated at 1.2. good reviews at www.xlr8yourmaac.com its under $400
