Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums and it will be my first time posting. I don't know if my question has been answered already, so I'm sorry if it has.

Anyways, I have a 20 gig 4th generation iPod, and I really want to upgrade to the 60 gig iPod Classic. Will apple let me trade in my 4th gen iPod for an iPod classic? I know I will most likely have to pay more money to for my iPod's value to equal the price of the iPod Classic, but I don't mind. Anybody know?

Thanks in advance :)

Wouldn't have thought so...

If you're wanting to trade up then eBay is probably your best bet. Use the money from the sale of your old one as part-payment towards the new one.

Even my first gen?

They will take any generation, but a 10% discount is not much at all. You can easily make a lot more money by selling through eBay (or Craigslist if you prefer straight ad versus auction). Search eBay and Craigslist, you'll see old iPods still can fetch a good amount of money.

To the OP, I just sold my 4th Gen 20GB for $120 on Craigslist... ;)
