For example, when I'm at home, my WiFi frequently will sign on to my neighbor's WiFi, which is much slower. This happens a lot, as my computer goes in and out of sleep mode frequently, losing WiFi connection in the process. I know on the iPhone, I can tell it to forget these networks. Its kind of amazing the iPhone is more intuitive than OSX (in this particular situation).
