its in good condition, has had a front and back panel protector for most of the time i've had it. also has applecare on it since last march. just wondering what i can get for it in case i wanna drop some cash on a new one. also it will come with any cases i have for it, a mophie case and a belkin kickstand case.

well, let's see... a new 6th gen 80 GB is $250.
a refurb 5.5 gen 80 GB is $220.

can't imagine paying anything over $200 for one; i'd probably buck up the extra $20 + tax for the refurb 80 GB. maybe for $40 or $50 off that for a 60 GB... $170-$180?

don't forget the 80 GB (5.5 gen) has the brighter screen than the 60 GB (5 gen), and a warranty is worth quite a bit. AppleCare on a 60 GB would add to its value. don't forget to deduct for scratches & scuffs, and missing things like headphones ($20), etc.

that's just my logic. feel free to substitute your own. ;)

You may have been the one to PM me.
The purchase is on behalf of a friend. He wants a 30 or 60 gb Black iPod 5.0 or 5.5 no matter which one and is willing to pay $100 - $125. That's just his firm price--at least that was the story the other day.
If you want to accept that offer then PM me. I can pay pal cash tonight.
Also, he only wants the iPod, cables, everything that came with the original purchase. No need for extras unless they're thrown in.

$125 seems awfully low.

That is ok, don't sell it to me then. Oh wait, you're not the seller. I think I'll wait for the actual seller to respond.
