Nice...I guess. It doesn't seem any faster than going to the applications folder and opening the App from there. I guess if you wanted to group things like that (games, Apple Apps, etc.) you could toss them all in a folder and achieve the same effect.
Hell, Cmd Spacebar, type app name, click, and viola! No folders opened, no windows generated, app launched!

I don't get it... sorry.... but I guess options are always nice. There actually have been several people just recently asking about hotkey launching...which I also don't really get. But whatev.

because ppl mostly use their two hands while working with text and when switching apps they don't want to have to reach for the mouse. saves me at least 1~2secs everytime. but then again you just can use spotlight, google desktop, quicksilver, etc for the very same job
