How does the Mac version of Star Wars Battlefront run on a August 2006 MacBook Pro with 1.5 GB or RAM. Is there a Universal patch available?

No UB, "decent speeds under Rosetta."

Ok, I'll just get the PC version of Battlefront 2. How does that run?

I mean, based on the MR guide and maybe some things I've seen elsewhere, the PPC Battlefront 1 would probably run fine on your setup, given the processor speed and dedicated VRAM.

I tended to like Battlefront 1 over what little I've played of 2, as well.

Anybody with direct experience care to comment?

I ran Star Wars Battlefront 1 on a 2.16Ghz CD MacBook Pro without any problems with 1GB of memory and 256mb of VRAM. I really didn't see a difference between playing it on my Mac versus my copy on PC. I have a 2.4Ghz C2D MacBook Pro now, but I haven't re-installed it yet... hope this might help you out there.

Really? I played a little bit of BF2 at my friends house, and I loved it. Too bad there's not a Mac version though, I'd be all over that. I guess I'll have to live with the PC version.

Has anyone got it successfully running under OS X with Cider?
