Just a heads up for anybody that is not in the beta yet. Gamespot is giving away 100,000 tokens.

Yeah! I just got that the other day! Would be cool to play with some fellow Macrumors players! Be aware that this past Monday, MS jacked something up on Xbox LIVE and a lot of people couldn't connect to games. Seems to be working now though.

FINALLY got a key (actually, got two...signed up for another GS account to get a 2nd in case the 1st key doesn't work...several people commented that their key didn't work).

For some reason in Firefox (on Mac) it wouldn't load the button to click to get the key, apparently, because I kept commenting and thinking I'd get a key but I didn't. Eventually I wondered if I was missing something so I tried the page in Safari and a button appeared to submit to get the key that wasn't there when I tried to do it in Firefox. (I don't know if this is a Mac issue, a Firefox issue, or an Adblock Plus issue, or a combination of any of the three.)

Joystiq gave 10 away per day last week, I don't think that anyone else is giving out keys.

FWIW the beta expires on the 30th so there's only 6 more days of playing anyway and most people will be switching over to Halo 3 within the next few hours (I get my LE copy tomorrow in the mail), so... meh. /shrug :o

It was great while it lasted, I can't wait for the full release...November....11th? (early November, I do know that) Must buy for me. :D
