Specs:
iMacG3 400mhz
384RAM
15gig
Macos 9.2.2
iMacG4 800mhz
256RAM
60gig
Macos 10.1.3
---linkys Etherfast DSL/cable router (witht the latest firmware)
both computers are connected to the router and the router is connected to my building network (which it is pc) through the WAN port.
Im gettin good speeds accesing the world wide web. Also transfering from one computer to the other. But here comes the problem, i can acces the imac2 (the g4 one) from the imac1 (g3) running macos 9.2.2,by just accesing it through the chooser and my user login,i get the disks on my desktops and i can transfer everythin (1.8 gigs in 4 minutes), but from the imac2 im not able to access the imac1 ( i dont even have a clue on how to do it) ive tried some stuff but no luck.(i can transfer files from the old imac to the imac2 but not from the 2 to the 1)also my hp deskjet 932 is connected to the imac2 through usb, how can i share it so that i can print fro the imac 1?
--Any comments?Ideas?suggestions?

Reboot your iMacLCD into 9.

Once you've done that it'll all be as simple as you remember it.

In OS X..........go to System preferences..............startup disk.........set to OS 9 .....restart.

Are you using AppleTalk or TCP/IP to connect?

Go through the Finder's "Connect to Server" command (Cmd + K). A dialog box will come up and you can search through Local Network or AppleTalk...try both...

Here's the deal with printer sharing, the computer hooked up to the printer needs to be on whenever you're going to print, so you can almost just stick with grabbing the files you want to print through the network and print them from the G4 iMac. I don't have much experience with printer sharing through USB, so someone else might have more info for you.

Good luck!
