The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation launched a video podcast targeted for the AppleTV platform for the Toronto International Film Festival 2007.

I can get the video to play in iTunes but not on my video iPod.
I don't have AppleTV but can someone confirm that it works on AppleTV?

I've downloaded the four files.

Here's what Quicktime has to say about the files:
Format:
Apple MPEG4 Decompressor, 640 x 480, Millions
AAC, Stereo (L R), 44.100 kHz
30 fps
Data rate: around 1640 kbits/s

Still haven't had time to test the files, but after un-installing the 3ivx, Divx, Xvid and Perian from my Mac mini, I'm finally seeing the true file format of these files. I hate when crap like those CODECs highjack industry-standard names such as MPEG-4.

So yes, from these specs, they should play fine on the :apple:TV (and probably also the iPod, given that they're MPEG-4 and not H.264, though the bitrate may be a bit too high).
