Does the mac mini (intel) support FIS (i have bring out the SATA connector outsite but i want to connect to a SATA Port Multiplier (by example Addonics)

I have asked this question in a lot of forums but never an answer.

The mini also have a pci e connector (for the airport but i don't need wireless network), should it be possible to use a cable to outsite and connect a pc-e sata raid card to it?

I wish I knew, been searching everywhere...

Let me know if you try this. I've been trying to figure it out myself. I just don't know anyone with an eSATA raid setup to test it.

Yes you should be able to add some cards to the mini's PCIe port - 1 guy (Serpent) has figured out the wiring and rigged something up. No luck finding a built part (well there is one company, but they want a minimum of 100 units for an order). Nobody really knows what cards the mini would support, if any besides the airport card.
