I just got my brand spanking *cough* used Core 2 Duo iMac.

(2.16; 1gb, 250GB, X1600; wireless keyboard and mouse, $1000 shipped!)

And I am psyched!

I am looking for an external HD for media and the like.

My first concern is performance, my second and most important is looks; what looks good with my computer?

Links wanted!

I bought a WD My Book Pro because its aluminium enclosure matches my iMac's foot.

So gayness is offensive for some?

I've got the Freecom Classic 500GB, its really quiet and has 16MB buffer which is double most. Can get them really cheap on Amazon.com / .co.uk

That is a nice looking drive.

Gayness is not offensive in the least.

Connecting pleasing aesthetics and homosexuality is.
