I need some help w/ iTunes

I don't know what rock I just crawled out from but, before I used to be able to add video's,movies,TV shows to iTunes. I am not sure if it's because I've downloaded them from torrent file but it won't let me add them to my TV show section in iTunes?!?! Has Apple forbidden illegal content on iTunes ever since the release of Apple TV? Or does it have to be the stuff you've manage to buy from iTMS? These files are in .AVI and before I was able to add anime and bunch of other stuff to iTunes but no more....😡😕🙁

Well, i know the anime isn't pirated material because it's done by fansub groups. Until the show is brought from the owner to licenses it the stop subbing the anime. But, ya I forgot about that one... ipod converter....😱
