Shared Printing

My Canon MP600 is connected to my MBP via USB. I have it set up so i have enabled printer sharing, both on my MBP and iMac. My iMac is downstairs and i would like it to print to my Canon which is upstairs. How would i go about doing that?

should be straightforward... if the printer is shared on the MBP, you should see it right away when you go to the Print & Fax window in System Prefs on the iMac. You should also install the Canon drivers on the iMac, but they might be included in OS X (don't know about that specific printer). If it's not there right away, click add printer (the "+" button) and see if it shows up in your network. you should then be good to go (as long as your MBP is awake and the printer is on...)
