iPod touch 5 hours and 200 miles later....got my Touch

Drove from Toronto to Buffalo to pick it up. ANd yeah...its amazing...

Care to share any thoughts/opinions of it?

Also, I almost drive for 4 hours to get mine, but Madison, WI doesn't have them in stock at the moment. I'm waiting until next week I guess.

Sucks with gas prices these days and the time it took for you to get there and back. 🙁
 
haha whoaaaaaaa man, im in toronto too, and i was thinking on doing that, but then i just decided to wait for a couple more weeks, impressive though

I actually saved about 70 dollars. About 30 went on gas. Paid less taxes and no shipping costs obviously.
 
I called the madison, wi store today at 11 in the morning and they told me they had some. So i drove 45 minutes there to pick me one up and they were all gone. I was pissed. I heard they might have some more tomorrow, or at least by next week, so we will see. It sucks tough🙁
 
I should do that...here in QC it's like 15% tax almost - completely ridiculious. but I gues I don't really have the time/desire to drive to say...Albany, NY (4 hrs) where they have an apple store.

Hey man, at least you didn't drive 4 hours. 😉

I'm not going to bother calling my local stores and try to race to them if they have stock. Probably by Sunday or Monday there will be a lot more inventory.
 
yeah you are right..i did the math, sound slike a 50 bucks discount to me which is still so much better than just sitting here and waiting for two more weeks...i may just do that on sunday, buta man will i be pissed if there s none left...

There's an apple store in Laval.... I hope the Canadian stores get the iTouch soon.

give them a call to see if they have any left, they had "some" when i was there. Defiantly better than waiting for two weeks.
