iTunes couldn't find my Apple ID until I logged into the iTunes store; after I logged in it found it just fine.

ok wtf. i tried to sync photos, it said it did but nothing is there. then i tried to drag musis over to it, just like an ipod. nothing

Manual synch is not available. Go here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPhone_User_Guide.pdf. Read the manual & save yourself a lot of aggravation.

In iTunes select your phone on the left column and then go thru each tab at the top and select what you want Sync. On the 1st page you can say if you want it to Sync on Connection or just Manually start the Sync. If working you will see it at the Top Center of the screen as it is Syncing each part.

I made a couple albums of jpegs I wanted to sync and selected those when I plug in my iPhone. Make sure they're the right format.

they are .jpgs or at least the originals were.

but what i did was make a folder in finder called iPhone Pics, then made folders in that folder with pics and just synced that folder instead of iPhoto. that way they have separate albums too
