Sounds in Final Cut Express

I did a movie with my friends and I am editing it with Final Cut Express. I overdubbed all of the voices, but my microphone isn't very good, and it came out too soft, and they can barely be heard at maximum volume. Is there any way to make the voices louder? I intend to put music in some scenes, and I don't want to have to make that quiet to balance it out.

EDIT: Never mind, I just figured it out.
