The FCC is expected to lift restrictions on AOL adding video to their AOL Instant Messenger.

Does this mean we'll be able to do audio and video iSight iChats with anyone on AIM soon?

Most likey since AOL and Apple have been very friendly in recent days it might meant that iChat AV users can talk to AIM Video users...

Maybe Apple has had a hand in the technology for AOL?

Apple and AOL are friendly at the moment, so Apple may help AOL with their video conferencing so iChat compatiblitywould work.
