iPod Songs unchecked? - is there a quick way to recheck them

For some unknown reason, my songs on Itunes have become unchecked. I know that i can do this manually but with 3000 songs, that will be a pain. Is there a quick and automatic way to check all of the songs?

highlight all the songs then right click. the contexual menu will give you an option "check selection" and they'll all get checked.
 
Click on "Edit" on the top menu bar, then click "Select All" then right click anywhere on the songs and then click "Check Selection"
