iPod touch Battery Problems

can someone help me out..

So I left my Touch charging all night.

When im in list view the battery icon at the top is green and full .... whenever i get on CoverFlow, or whenever i pick a song and the cover shows up the battery is empty and it takes me back to the Home Screen after like 10 seconds.

I tried Restoring it already.

Sounds like a software issue.....i wouldnt be worried about it unless the actual battery life drops with the meter.

So do you suggest i exchange it, or keep it and hope Apple updates their software

at the very least have it taken to an apple store so a genius can look at it
