More Video on Touch?

On one of the product spec sheets over at apple they have some confusing numbers.

Already discussed here, 1750 songs on 8gb touch. 2000 songs on the ipod nano.

but i noticed. 10 hours of video on 8gb version, and only 8 hours on the 8gb nano?

sorry if this other point has also been made here, but I'm confused.

Don't even look at those numbers. They are relative. The actual number of hours that you will be able to squeeze out depends on your:

1. Filetype
2. Compression settings
3. Bitrate
4. And ultimately the file size created

Just know that you can probably fit 10 hours on there. I can fit 43 hours of the podcasts that I am subscribed to on my 8 gb as they only take up about 125mb for a 40 minute show.
