Windows XP not running very smoothly

Just put XP on the 2.4GZ iMac and it's not running very well. When windows are mored around it leaves a 'trail' Any suggestions?

There is a setting in Windows (exact location escapes me right now) that allows you to turn off "Show Windows Content While Dragging". It is in one of the appearance or graphics options menus. I suggest you turn that off then try it. While you're at it, I would also shut off those ugly transition effects. They look like crap and take up video ram. My 2 cents.

How did you install Windows? Bootcamp, Parallels? :)

Sorted it. Turned out the idiot didn't load the drivers on there even after asking him twice if he had. Ended up deleting the partition and re-doing it before he realised he hadn't. Tut. All working fine now, thanks for your help.
