So, I'm trying to play Episode 1 and Team Fortress 2 and my iMac just keeps crashing.

About 2-5 minutes into play and it'll lock up, regardless of setting the DX Audio acceleration to off and turning the graphics all the way down.

Is there a fix for this? Google shows so many conflicting and helpless advice!

I've only ever had HL crash on me about 4 times and the only sound issue I had was that sometimes when I died playing deathmatch, the beeping 'flatline' sound you hear would just continue after spawning and nothing else could be heard. Quite minor really given the overall time played. Here's hoping you find a fix!
