HELP! iphone black screen with scrolling white text

I was sync'ing my iPhone and it suddenly displayed a black screen with white scrolling text. Now it continues to reboot and go straight into the black screen with white scrolling text. Plugging it into my computer to restore does not work as it is never seen in iTunes. I have tried resetting with no luck.

Anyone run into this and know how to fix it?

Have you "hacked" it in anyway.

Hold the home and screen lock button for no less than 25 seconds - no less.... when prompted, connect to your computer for restore. Your info was saved during the last sync, so it will prompt you to restore from a backup.
