ANyone now some good site for illustrator tutorials (free)? Or something like Photoshop User TV.
Is the tutorials on www.layersmagazine.com free to use? And they will start a podcast too do you think it will work as the Photoshop User tv?

.....good question, frankly waht I know about illustrator was taught by not only my comp. design teacher but one thing that he told me is that everything he taught us he learned it himself by actually playing around with the program. Even things that the official tutorial books won't show. And so I did that and it has worked for me very well, even transfering from Ill 9 to Ill CS!
I mainly use Ill for all my work but for IMAGING I use PSCS with the same idea in mind. The more you play with what you and implamenting new things will get you to where you want to go as far as final projects.
As far as free tutorials hmmmmmm can't say that I know of any, may be some one here has one or knows of one. Best thing to do is may be a google search on online adobe illustrator tutorials and go from there.
By clicking on a link from an artist site I found a site whos artist specialises on pixel art work and had a good tutorial on how to do it! And this was from going from one site to another and another and so forth!
Good luck and don't give up!!
