Has anyone done this? Do they charge a lot of customs? Can I even send it? How have you guys been getting them in Switzerland

I was just in Basel last weekend, and i brought 5 iPhones and a Nano to various friends. (In my luggage.)

I think your best chance is to mail it standard USPS. Have the person who mails it to you take it out of the box. If it is new in the box, you will almost certianly be charged. Youll also have to state the the contents are worth $50 or so.

I'm not sure how shipping would work, but if you don't feel comfortable with risking high import taxes, maybe we could work something out, and I could mail you an iPhone from within Switzerland next time a am there (2 weeks or so).
