View Full Version : Are any of you planning on buying an Asus Eee?

This mini laptop really has my attention. And the fact that it does not run Windows (well it can but comes with Linux preinstalled) appeals to my Mac preference.

It looks nice but the Asus u3 has my eye caught more. Sadly, I needed a computer now and I went with its sony equivalent.

U3 is nice but has a 13.3 inch screen. The Eee is tiny with a 7 inch screen. It is the first mini notebook available at a reasonable price.

But that border around the screen houses stereo speakers. Reports indicate that they sound very good for a laptop, I think that's a nice compromise.
