I'm sure it'll pick up speed soon... although it looks to be about 50/50 right now

I just can't deal with all the negativity in this post ;)

Can't vote. Waiting to buy a iPhone after my verizon contract expires and MacWorld.

If this shows anything, it's how few people own a Touch. Although, in the recent "do you own an iPhone" poll, about 40% did. I doubt that most of these people would also buy a Touch. You also have to consider that if you're on this forum, you're a bigger Apple fan than most, which is why you have an iPhone, which is why you don't have a Touch. It'll be interesting to see the vs. numbers for these two products.

There's also the little fact that the iPod touch is available in all countries while the iPhone is limited to USA, UK, Germany (did I miss one?) and is limited to one carrier in each country and requires a 3-year contract (at least in the USA).

I'm pretty sure the iPod touch will sell more than the iPhone, despite Apple's actions (i.e. it does have Wi-Fi and Safari but no Google Maps or Mail...)

There should be an option for "I bought an iPhone and I have this issue."

Why do the percentages add up to more than 100%?
Even if you only look at those who bought an iPod we we that 60% don't know if they have the problem and another 60% do have the problem.

Were you affected by the iPod touch 'Negative Black' Screen Issue?
- Didn't buy an iPod touch 86.62 % (1126)
- Bought an iPod touch but don't know if I have this problem 4.85 % (63)
- Yes - I bought an iPod touch and have this problem 3.31 % (43)
- No - I bought an iPod touch and do NOT have this problem 5.23 % (68)
Total votes: 1300

Well you're right, when you add up 86.62 + 4.85 + 3.31 + 5.23 it does total 100.01%, but I don't see any numbers near 60%...

Maybe you confused the % with the number of people who voted?
